For instance, texts and images rather than simply words, texts that the learners can connect to from their own culture rather than writings that are bound by another culture, materials with examples rather than those without, and many other things.

Learning materials should promote confidence in students. Students who are at ease and confident learn more quickly. Many students feel at ease and self-assured if they believe the subjects they are learning are just somewhat challenging or harder than what they have already mastered. The lessons should be seen as valuable and relevant by the students.

The materials students learn should be applicable and beneficial since teachers may choose resources that are readily related to the particular subjects and assignments that students are also studying in their area of study.

Learning materials need to encourage and call for student self-investment. Learning materials that may pique learners’ interest, capture their attention, and motivate them to study the topic will make it easier for them to acquire the content independently.
